The story of Veer

As the nation came together, nothing symbolises India's unity like Veer. From Kashmir at the neck to Kanyakumari at the bottom of the tail, nine regional craft traditions converge upon a single frame. On the back of International Tiger Day on July 29th, this textile-based sculpture honors our national animal, The Bengal Tiger. Because you may own fine art, but you rarely get to hold an entire subcontinent from head to toe.

A Note From

the founder

At Culture Collect, the story always comes before the object. We do not make things to sell them. We make them because a story deserves a form worth keeping. Only 200 Veer tigers will ever be purchased, each numbered by hand and accompanied by its provenance. The numbers will be lower for the other pieces. Wildlife is our first collection. We welcome resale, because ownership is only one chapter in a longer journey. If India once offered the world its labour, the time has come to offer the world its culture.
